HaArava kimono
This project was inspired by my volunteering time in the Arava a few years ago. I designed and sewed a kimono inspired by the view around the kibbutz I went to.
The main technique I chose to work with was the mosaic technique and for that I used marble stones. In addition, I made paper foldings to create a 3D- pattern look and some paintings. The patterns on the kimono were created from puzzles arranged next to each other.
The fabric was printed by Kornit Digital printing company.
